Respiratory symptoms after acute COVID-19 were highly prevalent and were associated with poorer clinical outcomes, despite similar recovery over time. In this longitudinal observational follow-up study of individuals with previous COVID-19, 79% were identified with respiratory symptoms at 9 months and 46% at 18 months after acute COVID-19.
