In this study, otherwise healthy young adults who report regular e-cigarette use exhibited evidence of abnormal cardiopulmonary responses to exercise and blunted Dlco recruitment. These findings suggest early cardiopulmonary impairment and pulmonary vascular dysfunction in young adults with chronic e-cigarette exposure.
